Family Room Update
Personally Yours Interiors assisted this Orleans, Ontario homeowner with an update to their family room. Hardwood flooring was installed and an area rug selected to further express a colour scheme begun with the custom drapery the client wished to keep. The new furniture selection has provided a less crowded seating area with better traffic flow to the adjacent room and patio through the sliding glass doors. A wall mounted T.V. on a swivel bracket allows viewing from the adjoining kitchen as well as in the family room where it does not distract from the fireplace as our focal point. A paint colour was selected to provide a neutral backdrop to co-ordinate with the existing drapery and new area rug. Existing artwork from the client's extensive collection of paintings purchased while travelling in Europe were placed, along with their own accessories. The lamps were selected to add to the ambience of the space.
